Digital Film Production graduate Rima’s dream career lies in journalism and documentary filmmaking. Her undergraduate degree helped her gain an understanding and familiarisation with how the media industry works. She filmed documentaries about a deaf person who wants to become a pilot and on the torture in Syrian prisons.
She just got her MA degree in Global Journalism and Public Relations. The reason she has decided to pursue this course is because she believes that there is a certain power attributed to the written and spoken word that allows us to raise awareness.
Aside from pursuing what she loves, she wants to be able to make people care about the current and prevalent issues in today’s society. Her love for journalism only continues to grow and this course will help her gain in-depth knowledge and practical experience in creative writing, journalism basics and politics.
